The perfect working environment

There’s an interesting article on this week about the perfect working environment.

My perfect working environment is:

  • Tidy, with everything filed away neatly or arranged in alphabetical order!
  • Music (mostly thrash metal … the sound of white noise is good for my soul)
  • Working on my own, but with others around (I’m a borderline introvert)
  • I use Sally McGhee’s Take Back Your Life book, which is a variant on David Allen’s Getting Things Done approach using Microsoft Outlook and a PDA to organize my day.
